Spring is beautiful here in central Florida, and there is no
shortage of fun activities to do when the weather warms up. Here are just a few
of the things we’ve found to do this March – lots of outdoor fun to be had with festivals, BBQ competition, and carnivals. No matter what you choose, it's going to be virtually impossible not to have a good time in Lake County this March.

Started in 1998, Pig on the Pond is a Clermont favorite.
Mostly a BBQ competition and carnival, the three day event also raises funds
for scholarships and education in South Lake County. Pig on the Pond also hosts
a chili cookoff, the Rib Run for Education 5k, Pig on the Pond Wake Fest, and
Mac n’ Cheese competition.
